Teaching
My teaching interests lie in ethics, existentialism, philosophy and literature, social and political philosophy, continental philosophy, and the history of philosophy.

In my teaching, I cultivate a class environment where students can interrogate their preconceptions about everyday concepts, see how those concepts are philosophical, and appreciate the deep connections between philosophy and life. To do so, I prioritize inclusivity and respect, two values which I find to be indispensable to the study of philosophy. Two strategies that I use to prioritize inclusivity and respect include centering classes around a scaffolded discussion that develops students' understanding of texts and topics in a progressive way and diversifying my syllabi by pairing canonical texts with diverse figures and different genres.

I have taught upper-level and lower-level undergraduate courses in the history of philosophy, ethics, applied ethics, social and political philosophy, continental philosophy, and philosophy and literature.
